John and jane powers

The Collie Club of Hawaii owes a debt of gratitude to John and Jane Powers for more than 40 years of tireless and dedicated service to the club and the canine community in Hawaii. John and Jane were also active community volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Hawaiian Humane Society (John), and First Presbyterian Church Choir (Jane).
John passed away on June 21, 2014 and Jane passed away on April 8, 2023. Their legacy will live on with the club as we continue John's and Jane's dedication to promote and advance the breed in Hawaii.
We will always fondly remember the many years of their sponsorship of the 4th of July picnics at Pearl Harbor Park and Christmas parties at their home.
